Many of us would have used Dropbox at some time or the other. Not only is it one of the simplest file-sharing tools there is, it’s also one of the most frequently quoted instances of how a minimum viable product (MVP) went on to scale successfully and become huge in its own right. But not every startup that comes into the fray with an MVP has a dream run. For every Uber or Zappos that we know about, there are several other unknowns that have fallen by the wayside in their journey to take their MVP to something that is more scalable and sustainable.
